What to Expect

You’ll immediately feel at home the moment you walk in the door of our Marysville chiropractic office

Congratulations!  This is the experience that will bring you closer to good Health!

When you enter our office, you will be greeted by a friendly, courteous staff that will take your important medical information and will guide you through our office.

Please bring any pertinent information such as MRI reports or X-rays. A thorough chiropractic, orthopedic and neurological examination will be performed to help diagnose your condition.  X-rays may be taken to help rule out aggravation factors.  If needed, other diagnostic tests may be ordered.

After your exam, you may receive some therapies to give you some comfort.  We allow from between 45 minutes up to an hour and 15 minutes for more complex cases on your first visit.  Printing out the new patient paperwork from the "Office forms" bar on the left side of this page and having it completed, or arriving fifteen minutes early for paperwork will help to ensure a low wait time to meet your doctor.

Once your doctor has examined you, s/he will decide on a case by case basis as to whether you need x-rays.  Upon reviewing the exam findings and/or radiographs, you will be given a full Report of Findings, on the second office visit, which explains what can be done to ensure the improvement of your condition.

If your doctor feels chiropractic will help you, then a treatment plan will be given.  Treatment is tailored to your specific needs.

After you receive your Report of Findings, you will receive your first Adjustment if you are ready to get started with your care.  Each visit from there will take approximately 15 minutes and that includes any therapy we may do along with the Adjustment.

Following your recommendations for treatment is critical for proper correction of progressive structural problems.  Your progress is  directly proportional to your willingness to follow the outlined treatment plan, including at home and nutritional recommendations as well.

Drs. Cooper Asks some important questions of interest to Marysville residents - Chiropractor Marysville Drs. Cooper Asks...

Why does chiropractic work?
Chiropractic works because your nervous system, consisting of your brain, spinal cord and all the nerves of your body, controls and regulates every cell, tissue, organ and system of your body. A chiropractor locates and reduces areas of nervous system compromise (usually along the spine) so your capacity to heal is restored. Chiropractic works by helping your body work as it was designed.
What is the purpose of pain?
Pain prompts many Marysville folks to begin chiropractic care. But pain isn't the problem! Pain is just how your body alerts you that a limit has been reached (or exceeded), that something isn't working right and that some type of change is needed. As a chiropractor, my job is finding the underlying cause and recommending the changes needed to bring your body back into balance.
