Introducing Marysville Chiropractors, Drs. Patrick and Charita Cooper

Marysville Chiropractors Drs. Charita and Patrick Cooper

Dr. Charita and I have lived in Marysville since opening our practice in the summer of 2002, and truly love this town. It brings back some of the fondest memories that I have of Yorktown, Indiana, where I grew up. Charita grew up in Columbus, Ohio. We are the proud parents of two Yorkshire Terriers, Zach and Lexi. They bring great joy to our lives.

Dr. Patrick's testamonial:

As a young boy through my twenties, I suffered from severe lower back pain.  It was so debilitating! It would come and go, with no warning and not only sidelined me from athletics, but caused me to walk hunched over.  My mother was an x-ray technician at the time, so she took me to be examined by one of the doctors at Ball Memorial Hospital. Well, after many tests, and I'm sure several thousands of dollars later, they told us that my diagnosis was merely growing pains!  So needless to say, I continued to suffer. Thank God it wasn't constant and really severe ALL the time. You might be asking yourself, why would a kid of that age have that much back pain?

Well, I wondered that myself, until I was close to graduating with my Bachelor's Degree from Wright State University, pursing a career in pharmaceutical chemistry. I met Doctor who practiced in Fairborn, OH, and forever changed my life and destiny! Upon examination and x-ray study, this doctor took the time to explain, and show on my x-rays, what was causing my pain and other symptoms.  When I received my first chiropractic adjustment, I was almost in tears; Tears of Joy because I felt immediate relief!  I had forgotten what it was like to literally feel “good” again. Actually, I had never felt so good! (At least as far back as I could remember) Well, to make this story shorter, I graduated from WSU, moved to Atlanta, GA and two months later started my first quarter in the Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) program at Life University.  The rest is HISTORY!  Thank God I'm a Chiropractor, because I get the greatest joy from blessing others, the way I was blessed. I have the greatest job in the world.

If you have never experienced chiropractic care, then do yourself a favor and learn more about it and have an open mind; ask questions and educate yourself as to the benefits, before you judge what it is you “think” you know all about!  (I spent four years learning about it)

Drs. Cooper Asks some important questions of interest to Marysville residents - Chiropractor Marysville Drs. Cooper Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
